Virginia Krauft, Ed. D., Senior Jungian Analyst
Virginia Krauft, Ed. D., Senior Jungian Analyst is a licensed psychologist in the state of Arkansas. She practices in a rural setting to provide a unique environment for clients. She is a gardener at heart and knows that providing a healthy environment and adequate nourishment produces growth.
Dr. Krauft has filled her tool box with formal degrees in Philosophy, Psychology, Counselor Education, Correctional Rehabilitation, and Pastoral Studies which have supported her present practice of analytical psychology. She received her diploma in Analytical Psychology from the Inter- Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. She is a training analyst and presently serves on the Archetypal Exam Committee, and has served on the Written and Dream Exam Committees, and she chairs a Review Committee. She was on the faculty in the Memphis Training Seminar and has served as co-chair and taught in the Heartland Association of Jungian Analysts. She has analyzed over 30,000 dreams, and has two on-going dream seminars in Arkansas and Oklahoma at this time. Virginia’s background includes serving as Director of School Services and Children Services for nineteen years at Ozark Guidance, a community mental health center. While there she established in-patient and out-patient services for children. She has served on many boards and represented the United States at the First International Congress for Exceptional Children in Stirling, Scotland. In addition to her full-time analytic practice, she does forensic, diagnostic, consultative services, and psychological supervision. Dr. Krauft designed, built and now manages the Center for Psychology, a 7,200 square foot clinic with nine private-practicing therapists, and housing a nonprofit library of over 8,000 books. |
